Family owned and operated in Jamestown, NC
La Cocina de Mama opened in Jamestown in 2024, family owned and operated from day one. The name is literal: this is the cooking of a Dominican mama's kitchen, brought to North Carolina.
Everything is made to order. The pernil comes out when it comes out, the sancocho takes what a sancocho takes, and the ribs are made on the spot every day. That is the deal we made with ourselves when we opened.
You will find us at the table on domino nights, three times a week. Come for the food, stay for the game.
